Each row is an indicative range under the conditions stated, not a fixed quote for a specific SKU. The inquiry link includes that row; NKAM will confirm the model, configuration and included charges before quoting.

What exactly separates the two

*This two-price split applies to our laser welding line. Other product lines have their own quotation structure — just ask when you need it.*

Machine price. You arrange transport and bring the machine to your shop. The 12-month warranty is unchanged. If it fails, we still repair it. But you deliver it to us, or you cover the freight both ways.

All-inclusive. We deliver to your location. If there is a problem, we come to you. Freight and on-site service are inside the number.

Same machine, same laser source, same gun, same warranty. The only difference is who travels.

Why we put this in writing

Because if we do not, you will compare wrongly.

When you take our 75 million to another supplier and they quote 60 million, the natural conclusion is "they are 20% cheaper." But you do not know what that 60 million contains. Is delivery in it? Who travels when it fails? How soon?

A price without a stated service scope does not tell you anything. That is true of every supplier including us — which is why we split it into two numbers instead of folding it into one.

When you ask anyone for a price, ask three more questions:

  1. Does this include delivery to my shop?
  2. During the warranty, who pays the travel cost when it fails?
  3. How many months of warranty, and from what date?

Those three usually change the comparison more than the price itself does.

Which to choose

Machine price suits you if: you are nearby, you have transport, or your shop has someone who handles most issues on site.

All-inclusive suits you if: you are far away, the machine sits in a line that cannot be down long, or you do not want to organise transport every time something happens.

We do not push you either way. Describe your situation and we will say plainly which one is the better deal for you.

Choosing power

1500W is enough for thin sheet and most light structural work, decorative stainless, and enclosures.

2000W for thicker material and hours of continuous welding.

3000W when you weld heavy material or need high speed all day.

With handheld laser welding, power is usually not what decides the result — technique and joint preparation matter more. If you have never used one, come and watch a test weld before choosing a power.

Safety: this section is not optional

A handheld laser welder is easy to use but it is not a safe-by-default machine.

  • The 1064nm beam is invisible. There is no bright flash to warn you.
  • Eyewear rated for the wavelength is mandatory, for the welder and for anyone standing nearby.
  • Reflective surfaces in the shop can send the beam further than you expect.
  • Weld fume needs extraction, particularly on coated material.

We cover this at handover. If you take the machine price and collect it yourself, still make time for the safety briefing.

What the quotation includes

Included: the machine, laser source as configured, gun and a set of tips, integrated cooling, operating and safety instruction, 12-month warranty.

Not included: shielding gas and bottles, your shop's fume extraction, consumables (protective lenses, tips), wire feed if your parts need it, and freight if you take the machine price.

To get an accurate quotation, prepare

  1. The material and thickness you weld most
  2. Typical weld length and how many per day
  3. Whether the welds stay visible
  4. Where you are — this decides which of the two prices is the better deal for you
